The struggling Bees travel to Blundell Park on Saturday to take on fellow basement buddies Grimsby Town. Although the Mariners are just a point better off so far, this is the last fixture that we would've wanted, given our appalling record against the Lincolnshire side in the last few years.

Barnet FC have reported the tragic news that 19 year old youth team captain Oliver Kingonzila was stabbed to death outside a bar in Croydon in the early hours of Saturday morning. Oliver had trained with the 1st team squad and appeared in the Herts Senior Cup.....

A fine solo effort from Albert Adomah was the highlight of the game as Barnet finally got their first point of the season in a 1-1 draw with Morecambe at Underhill.

Nicky Nicolau signed for Barnet for the 3rd time on Thursday. Following his decision to leave at the end of last season and Paul Fairclough's release of the player in the summer of 2007, the left back/winger has joined the Underhill mob once again.

Paul Fairclough has insisted that he and his under-performing players will get it right in the upcoming games. Fairclough even went as far as to say that he sees the challenge as a 'fantastic experience' for himself as he seeks to turn the club's fortunes around.
